We are Not Alone: Alliance for Conflict Transformation
Recently when surfing the Net, I came across the Alliance for Conflict Transformation, "an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to building peace." From their site:
"ACT believes that conflicts are embedded in relations at the individual, interpersonal, organizational, community, and international levels, and include psychological, socio-cultural, spiritual, political, historical, and economic dimensions. We use multi-faceted approaches to develop better understandings of conflict situations and create effective interventions."
They have articles, projects, a set of basic ethical values, and some discussion boards, which don't seem to be being used much.
It might be interesting to have a discussion here about their ethical values. Anyone up for copying & pasting them here (with attribution) to get that going? If not, well, that's ok too.
